Humanoid Brain Controller

A hip for a two-legged robot. Its leg hangs straight down and bends forward at the knee.

Place one Humanoid Brain Controller per leg where the hips should be, usually two side by side under the robot's body. Its glowing strip is the front: the robot faces that way and its knees bend that way. The leg hangs straight under the hip, stands tall with soft knees, and steps like a person's, on the same walking system as the insect Brain Controller (both can share a machine).

Walking straight. A robot on two legs walks upright on its own, but drifts slowly off its heading. For a perfectly straight walk, put two powered Advanced Gyroscopes on it: one in Gyroscope mode keeps it upright, one as an Inertial Damper keeps it facing where it walks.

Right-click for its screen, with the same sliders as the Brain Controller: leg length (Auto or 1 to 64 blocks), knees, width at the root and at the tip, power with its Load panel, and the foot (none, a forward-pointing sole, or a claw). The block in front of it dresses the leg and the block behind it the knee and foot, since below is where the leg goes.

Drive it with a Locomotion Core like any walking machine.
